Machinima filmmakers from across the globe will be meeting in Second Life to be part of a discussion as part of Christopher R. Coppola’s Project Accessible Hollywood festival, Thursday, July 12th at 10am (SLT) in the SIM Orange22.
Machinima is the use of real-time 3D computer graphics to create a cinematic production. Participants for the panel include Tony Dyson, the EMMY nominated man behind the famous R2D2 robot, Vincent Lowe creator of the the series “How Far Jafar” and “Be My Guest” and Maximillian Merlin, whose new Machinima tool “Actor in a Box: will be demonstrated during the seminar. Other panelist include Pooky Amsterdam, Olaf Barbosa, Rosco Teardrop and Chantal Harvey.
The seminar will be also presented live on the campus of Madonna University. The Second Life portion of the seminar will take place in the SIM Orange22 and will provide a live feed from the show as well an avatar simulations of the group. Orange22, the SIM is a virtual world presence for Orange22, Inc. (www.orange22.net).
