Artists *sigh*

At the time Linden Lab still held their own birthday parties they had hired curators that banned some of the best art works from the areas of the festivity. EXTRA EXTRA: Susas banned from celebration SL7B

At the yearly Burning Life event held by Linden Lab same thing happened year after year...

Linden Lab got tired of the massive protests and stopped sponsering both events. So what happened when the artists themselves ran them? SAME THING!

The first Burn2 run by the artists themselves banned one of the best known artists Vaneeesa Blaylock for reasons Apmel never understood.

And now this year when SLB9 for the first time is run completely independent of Linden Lab what happens? Well Apmel got this notecard: The SL9B organizers chose not to include BURN2 in this year's festivities, so guess what? We're throwing our OWN party, Burner style! That's right! Since SL was BORN at Burning Man--did you know that?--we're having our own party! & YOU can participate! We're looking for camps & art builds from previous Burning Life/BURN2 events. Want to dust off yours & rezz it again? Drop me a notecard with a brief description & photo (if you can), & we'll select a dozen or so for our event "Conception," June 18 - 25th!
