for an exhibition entitled popart-series in 2009.
They were created by skilled sculptor who
employed the same techniques used to produce
sculpted items in SL. The artist’s subject matte
derived from everyday experience and drew
upon cult images that are recognisable and
comforting. Based upon a child’s well known
"Teddy Bear". 50 Nallea are the most obviously
sentimental of the series. However, they have
nicely polished surfaces, gaudy colours and
oversized scale, the sculptures are also strangely
overbearing, serving to challenge conventional
preconceptions of style and taste.
