Festival 11-13 November 2011
YOU are invited to participate! IMAGINE PeaceFest is happening in November of this year, and the team has begun planning!
IMAGINE PeaceFest is about people working together across international boundaries, using virtual and real-world venues to promote the amazing work of real-world organizations. We work together for a better world, with a focus on peace, human rights and justice for all.
Real power lies not so much in what money can buy but in the power of human ideas, commitment and actions to create the world we want to see. And the change starts inside us. We are looking for events, talks, concerts, shows and exhibitions that will be fun, beautiful, inspiring, challenging, and stimulating.
As in years past with PeaceFest, all donations will go to three non-profit organizations that the team has selected:
- The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA);
- The Rural Economic and Agricultural Development Agency (READA) in Cambodia; and
- the One Laptop per Child initiative.

Efter att vi visat upp allt som finns runt torget, inklusive Jardin d´Milli och Gallerie Villa Apmel tyckte Medora att en del av det schemalagda programmet skulle förläggas på och runt vårt kära Place des Petits Bourgeois.

Some ways you can participate!
1) Apply to be a host and plan a scheduled event during the Fest!
2) Host an ongoing event during the month of November, 2011 (e.g. art shows, auctions, product sales, carnival experiences, hunts, interactive displays, ongoing book studies and discussions, etc.)
3) Be a performer during IMAGINE PeaceFest (e.g. singers, musicians, spoken word, other performances) - Compose and perform music to help us imagine a world at peace
4) Create art work that inspires us to think of a world at peace (and consider donating for auction)
5) Volunteer! Be a greeter during the Fest
6) Take a kiosk & donate to PeaceFest Pevensey (our official av in SL) or to PayPal directly at (include PayPal address here)
7) Spread the news! Share about IMAGINE PeaceFest on your blog, twitter or social media spots
