Machinimareklam

Machinimatävlingar som fungerar som reklamkampanjer finns det gott om i SL. Vi har t ex MACHINIMUWA IV: Art of the Artists (som gör reklam för virtuell konst), vi har Pop Art Labs tävlingar att göra promotionmachinimas för olika popgrupper och inte minst LLs egna månatliga (MoM) som genom att visa månadens "bästa" Second Life-machinima gör reklam för SL naturligtvis.

Den senaste i raden av machinimatävlingar går ut på att göra reklam för en ännu hemlig kompositör och dennes musik (se reglerna) men är ändå intressant då den dessutom premierar machinimas med en story (en annan intressant återkommande tävling varje år sedan 2007 är The 48 Hour project som premierar machinimaproduktion i största allmänhet).


The idea is to show your ability to tell a short story. If the composer is our choice, what piece of music you select and what story you choose to tell is yours.
Jury's choice will be on the following points (in that order):
1. Story
2. Visual aspect
3. Technique.

Rules

The machinima clip:
1. Must tell a story and unfold on one of the musics of the composer (link to be published on July 1st 2011)
2. Can include photos, videos and or drawings if these elements are your own
3. Can include written text
4. Will be presented in agreement with the Creative commons licence (http://creativecommons.org/)

Beginning of the clip:
The first three seconds of the clip must mention the title of the music and the name of the composer.

Generic:
The generic must be positioned at the end of your story, without sound, on black background and bare all the names of the participants (if you do this as a team) as well as their role in the production.

You can participate alone or with a team. In the case of a team, it is the leader who submits the entry.
