Miso Susanowa is most-often known for her sculpture and sound/music work, but this unique installation at Kelly Yap Newcomers and Friends Gallery showcases some of her 20+ years of photography and digital manipulation of photos using her collection of custom-made and tweaked graphic and fractal filters.
She has been a photographer for many years, proudly owning a fully-manual Mamiya-Sekor 35mm that was used by her aunt, a photographer for National Geographic. She uses both 35mm film and digital cameras. This exhibition includes both processed and unprocessed images as well as fractal artwork and fractal filters applied to photographs.
The "face" used for this poster is not real - it is an "attractive average female face" generated by Face Research Org - http://www.faceresearch.org/
