AT THE END OF THE DAY reflects Alizarin's feeling for the beauty of warm, moonlit June evenings in midcoast Maine. You approach through a dark forest of lupines. Once inside, you find yourself in a moonlit clearing. Lush fields of blooming lupines sway in the evening breezes. Hylas below and bats overhead keep up a constant chorus of small noises.

Occasionally, the calls of a loon and a whippoorwill are heard. Once in a very great while, the evening calm is split by the screech of a car. Sit and stir the water with your toes - pose balls glowing green are reminiscent of fireflies, as are the floating green particles.

(Watch out! the blue poseballs are for tinies.) More things to notice: the water in the cistern sparkles and gently washes up and down, smoke drifts up from some of the chimneys, lights go on and off in some of the houses, patchy ground fog hovers over parts of the field.

A great place to hang and chat with your friends.

Champagne and hors d'oeuvres just outside, of course.
